Application Outline
Preparing an application for the JET Programme can be somewhat time-consuming so applicants are strongly advised to allow plenty of time to do this. Applicants are advised to carefully read the guidelines (as listed under the Application Pack link on the left) in order to prepare their application.
The JET Programme UK strongly encourages applicants to use the online application form. In addition to completing an application form, applicants must supply supporting documentation, all of which are essential. Applicants are advised to start collating the required material well in advance of the deadline. Please note that incomplete applications without the necessary supporting documentation cannot be furthered to the screening stage.
It is the responsibility of the applicants to make sure that their application is complete before submitting it.
Once complete, all applicants must send their Application Packs to the Embassy of Japan in London, regardless of whether they intend to be interviewed in Edinburgh.
